Submit a Ticket - Appeals

When a student is terminated, they can petition for one-time reinstatement by submitting a written notification requesting the appeal. The reinstatement request must be based upon evidence with regard to the cause of the termination, as well as compelling evidence regarding their ability to successfully complete the program if given the opportunity to appeal. An appeal must be provided in writing to Intellectual Point within two (2) business days of termination notification. Intellectual point will decide on an appeal within two (2) business days from date of receipt of the written appeal. Should readmittance be granted the decision including criteria and conditions for readmissions will be provided to the student in writing and the student will return under a probationary status. A second termination in any program is ineligible for an appeal. Some funding may be ineligible for use upon reenrollment based on the conditions of reenrollment.

In the termination notice, the second page provides you with the option for an appeal. You will need to submit that form in conjunction with supporting documentation for the appeal to be approved. If you used the adobe sign form, you had the option to complete and submit the form electronically, in which case you simply need to upload the supporting documentation. If you elected to complete the form manually and did not use the form as it was digitally sent, you will need to upload the signed form along with the supporting documentation below for submission for approval.

You have 2 business days from the date of the notice to submit an appeal (the date is listed on the appeal notice).

If you did not elect to appeal a termination, you were provided a time period by which you were required to wait to reenroll. While you are eligible to reenroll, you are required to provide an explanation as to what has changed in since your prior enrollment in order to be eligible to reenroll with Intellectual Point for a new program. If you do not have a unresolved debt to the school, you may be eligible with completion of the following form to enroll again with the school.
